 Superior Position(s) None
The word Cuilliaéan is the oldest religious title of human civilization and history. Created at the very beginning of spoken language (Proto-Indo-European languages) over 6,000 years ago.
It refers to the pre-Celtic priest leaders that came from Ireland introducing the earliest concepts of religion, including the association/veneration of gold as a substance of religious importance (on account of the Cuilliaéan adopting the earliest forms of religious jewelry from local Irish gold).
These most sacred of all priests belonged to a single family cast, known by the same title --therefore Cuilliaéan is arguably the earliest "family name" in history. Contrary to misinformation presented on the Druid class, a person could not be trained to become a Cuilliaéan, they had to be born into the Cuilliaéan.
Cuilliaéan as the origin for the words Holly and Holy
The title also referred to the most sacred tree of the earliest pre-Celtic European religious beliefs- the Holly tree. Today, a substantial amount of disinformation exists concerning the importance of certain plants to the Druids (Cuilliaéan). The Oak was the sacred tree of Summer, but the Holly was the most sacred plant of all- the plant of winter. The Druid did not worship weeds such as Mistletoe -- a ridiculous myth designed the belittle ancient knowledge.
The origin of the actual word Holly comes from the 11th Century Old High German hulis and Old English holegn both meaning Holly. The word hulis originates from an even older proto-Germanic word khuli a shortened derivation of the ancient Gaelic cuilieann both meaning Holly. Today in Modern Gaelic, Holly is still known as cuileann.
In the 4th Century, the Latin word for Holly - Ilex (from Latin i = one and lex = law) gained great prominence as the first word in the official motto of the reconstituted Roman Empire under Emperor Constantine --I·N·R·I meaning ILEX·NOVUM·ROMANUM·IMPERIUM or Holly New Roman Empire, simply the "Holy Roman Empire".
The word "Holy" is a relatively recent Middle-English word from the 14th Century. Prior to this era the word "holy" did not exist and all references would have been either Holly, Ilex or a comparable word for Holly. When early Christian scripture refer to the "Holy Family", the correct name is "Holly Family".
Cuilliaéan as the origin for the word Celt
The word "Celt" is also derived from Holly as a description of the earliest leaders of Ireland. Celt comes from the ancient Greek word 'keltoi'.
The first literary reference to the Celtic people, as keltoi is by the Greek historian Hecataeus in 517 BC. He locates the Keltoi tribe in Rhenania (West/Southwest Germany). A similar word Khuli was in use at the time in the area through the proto-Germanic language (600 BCE), a shortened derivation of the ancient Gaelic cuilieann (1200 to 2000 BCE) both meaning Holly.
The distinction of the word holy and holly appeared around the 13th Century with the Old English word hālig derived from hāl meaning health, happiness and wholeness.
This symbolic genealogical importance placed on the holly tree and its recognition as sacred by the ancient druid religion is the original source of this belief that well over a thousand years later went onto become a major symbol of the bloodline of Christmas and the bloodline of Jesus.
  Origin of the Cuilliaéan
The end of the last great Ice Age happened slowly and at different rates across the globe. 10,000 years to 9,000 years ago, the whole of the Middle East, Northern Africa and South Eastern Europe were fertile lands, rich river deltas offering reliable water flows and an abundance of food. In contrast, Northern Europe still remained covered in snow and ice for much of the year, while the land bridges between Ireland to Britain and Britain to France finally fell under the rising seas.
Then, from around 9,500 years ago the climate change for the hunter gatherer tribes of Northern Europe began to accelerate rapidly. The great herds of animals began to die off. For the populations of humans cut off living on Ireland and Britain, the change was even faster.
These were tribes who lived in small nomadic communities, chasing the animals. They had no real need for great numbers of possessions. They lived and hunted by the cycle of the moon. They were certainly not farmers.
Nowhere else in Northern Europe than in Ireland did the dramatic changes of life and death, the old ways and the struggle for survival play out as greatly. Ireland was the test bed of what was to potentially become the destiny of all of Northern Europe.
In the case of Ireland, a land, once connected to Britain that supported a nomadic hunter gatherer population of up to 30,000 around 9,000 years ago suddenly and quickly ran out of animals and even small animals.
Inevitably starvation, war, and cannibalism became rife. Within a few short years, it is estimated the population plummeted to less than 10,000 and life became short, brutal and uncertain.
Facing starvation, the ancient former hunter gatherer tribes of Ireland almost certainly ate anything they could find. This included many herbs, shrubs and trees that had hallucinogenic "magical" properties.
The Holly Tree (cuilieann) is of particular importance. Its mildly poisonous berries have been known as a sacred source for hallucinogenic qualities for thousands of years. Given the sacredness of Holly to pre-Christian Europe, it is fairly certain that this plant may well have been the origin of the earliest "out of body" experiences of subjects that promoted the construction of the essential doctrine universal to all religions- the concept of a greater "force" and a story of "being" and "purpose".
As testament to the lack of ancient sophisticated farming evidence at the oldest archeological sites in Ireland, the Irish were forced to become seafarers very early in the development of their culture 6,000+ years ago.
However, one of the most astounding classes of evidence to support the "Druids first" theory is evidenced by 4,000 year old Irish religious gold artifacts having been found throughout Europe and as far as the Middle East and Egypt.
In fact, the first recorded "gold rush" is the Wicklow Hills in Ireland where evidence of the earliest ancient gold mining of any site in Europe has been discovered.
Ireland, the Cuilliaéan and the Bronze age
The largest natural deposits of Bronze in the ancient world were to be found in Ireland. While ancient civilizations emerged on the Anatolian Peninsula (Turkey) to discover how to use arsenic to smelt bronze from copper and tin, Ireland bronze was regarded as superior in quality and flexibility (Arsenic bronze tending to shatter in extreme stress).
Thanks to the export of natural bronze from Ireland into the Mediterranean, the largest city in the ancient world called Ebla (which means "white rock/stone") emerged by 3300 BCE. The site now known today as Tell Mardikh in northern Syria, about 55 km southwest of Aleppo is now regarded to be the central home for the first written languages of ancient history in the form of Eblaite --at least 800 years before the Sumerians!
Ebla shared another distinction with Ireland as being a society that had developed a deep religious philosophy against the prevailing practices of human sacrifice and blood that was practiced throughout the ancient world to appease the gods of nature.
Ebla were also master craftsmen specializing in artifacts of fine quality bronze and wood. Given these common features, it is almost certain that the relationship between the master navigators of the Irish and the craftsmen and traders of Ebla was founded early in the existence of the city. In turn, the friendship was to become hugely profitable to both sides.
By 2300 BCE within two hundred years of commencing direct trade with the Druid Priest Kings of Ireland, Ebla had swelled in size from a city of 20,000 to 30,000 to the greatest and largest city of the ancient world, with a population of over 300,000. It wasn’t until over two thousand years later that another city called Rome came close to this peak.
The importance of Ebla in terms of the spiritual and knowledge of the human race cannot be overstated.
The ancient Patriarchs who founded Ebla were worshipped as gods themselves. They also happen to be the exact same names from which we get the first and key characters from Genesis in the Holy Bible such as A-da-mu (Adam), Ab-ra-mu (Abraham), E-sa-um (Esau), Ish-ma-ilu (Ishmael), Is-ra-ilu (Israel), Da-'u'dum (David) and Sa-'u-lum (Saul).
Around 2300 BCE after internal rivally and dramatic climate changes, Sargon the Great captured Ebla and the last king (Ibbi), son of Ibrium sought refuge with the Cuilliaéan.
King Ibbi and the Éblaites are the original source of the great legend of the Milesians, the “Syrians”. They did not conquer, but integrated themselves into the bloodlines of the priests and as the first "Kings" of Ireland. The name of Ireland from this point was known as Ibbi-Éri “Land of Ibbi” later called Ibiru, Habiru, Iberni, Hiberni and Ériu. Ireland’s first city was renamed Eblana “new Ebla”, a site on or near Dublin.
  The weakening of the Cuilliaéan
Civil war between powerful warrior tribes greatly weakened the power of the Cuilliaéan from the 9th Century BCE to the 6th Century BCE.
The arrival of the Prophet Jeremiah around 593-592 BCE with the Princess Tephi, the last of the bloodline of the House of Judah, the messiah kings of Jerusalem provided the Cuilliaéan with a chance to unite the tribes through a reconstituted civilization later known as the Khuli (Keltoi from which we get Celts).
The rise of the Roman Empire finally smashed the control of the the Cuilliaéan of mainland Europe.
There was a brief reprieve under the 1st British Roman Emperor, Celtic King and Cuilliaéan related Constantine (Custennyn/ Custennin) of the Drumonni in the 4th Century, with the Latin name for Holly incorporated into the official motto of the Roman Empire (I·N·R·I which means ILEX·NOVUM·ROMANUM·IMPERIUM or simply Holy New Roman Empire). However the meaning of INRI was deliberately distorted by Roman Cult historians in the 16th Century to read the absurd (and historically impossible) phrase IESVS·NAZARENVS·REX·IVDÆORVM or "Jesus of Nazareth- King of the Jews"--the word Jew not created until the 16th Century.
By the 6th Century, the Cuilliaéan now as the Ui Cuilaéann (O'Collins) controlled just the southern Kingdom of Munster in Ireland with a second branch holding the Dal Riata kingdom in Scotland. The Scottish Ui Cuilaéann died out with Macbeth the last King by the 11th Century.
The Ui Cuilaéann (O'Collins) of the South continued to survive and their descendents are found in large numbers across the world as Collins and Cullen. In parallel to the distorted history of the western world, this most famous "holy family" are completely forgotten in modern history books.
